A CLUB BUILT AROUND COMMUNITY CRICKET
Established in 1886, East Doncaster Cricket Club has proudly been part of the Manningham community for more than 135 years.
From humble beginnings as a small local club made up largely of fruit-growing families, EDCC has grown into one of the most respected and successful cricket clubs in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
Our home ground, Zerbes Reserve in Doncaster East, is one of the standout community cricket facilities in the ECA, featuring a quality turf ground and pavilion that brings players, families, supporters and sponsors together throughout the season.
On the field, the club has enjoyed a proud history of success, with close to seventy premierships, multiple Dunstan Shield flags and a strong record of developing junior representative players, including players who have gone on to represent Victoria at under-age level.
Off the field, East Doncaster Cricket Club is deeply connected to the wider community through long-standing school partnerships, local cricket clinics and our proud No Boundaries Cricket program with Onemda, giving people with a physical or intellectual disability the opportunity to participate in the great game of cricket.
Today, EDCC continues to offer cricket for all ages and abilities, from Woolworths Cricket Blast and junior teams through to senior, turf and veterans cricket. New players, families, supporters and sponsors are always welcome.
